If you find yourself in Omaha, Nebraska one of the places you will likely be told you need to check out is the Old Market area.
You can find the Old Market area downtown near the river and the Con Agra headquarters. It is a cute little area that is bustling with old school charm. There are a lot of restaurants. In fact, you can find pretty much any ethnic cuisine you are looking for. There is even a candy shoppe and a little ice cream and soda shop. A lot of the restaurants even have some charming sidewalk dining available.
You will also find a lot of shopping in the Old Market area. There is everything from a leather goods store to art galleries.
And you are certain to not be at a loss for things to do in the Old Market. There are plenty of pubs & taverns, theaters and more. You can even live in the area if you want to buy a loft!
For parking, look for a street meter for your cheapest option. I like to park at the meters on Jackson by Cubby’s.
