British Airways new carbon offset program

British Airways has unveiled an upgraded carbon offset program with funding to support deforestation prevention.

The new offset program makes use of UN-certified emissions reductions to help finance new initiatives in developing countries such as clean energy projects in China and Brazil. It allows customers to buy their offset in one transaction. When you book your flight at ba.com, you can choose to pay directly into the fund and reduce your carbon footprint.

In addition to the offset program, British Airways will invest in a range of deforestation prevention projects in Brazil. We are striving to effectively combat one of the largest sources of greenhouse gasses.
