New London walking trails

May 11, 2008 · Filed Under London

As part of London’s Museums and Galleries Month for the entire month of May, 15 new London walking trails have been designated. The trails have been launched in an effort to introduce some of the more unique and off the beat track aspects of London’s heritage.

Discover these new London walking trails:

  • The Medicine Uncovered Tour highlights 9 science and medical museums. Discover how penicillin was invented and see the first dentist’s drill.
  • Explore places across London with a musical link, with a special focus on Handel in the Bright Lights and Music Trail.
  • Chinese Connections takes in Chinese art and design from the past and present. There’s a chance to explore Chinatown and sample some delicious Chinese food.
  • War and Peace parades the capital’s best military collections as well as a peace garden and peace pagoda.
