Cedar Point - the most badass roller coaster park in the world
Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio is known worldwide as the Roller Coaster Capital of the World, and with good reason.
The park as around 75 rides total, with 17 of them being some of the most badass roller coasters you will ever ride. In fact, Cedar Point is where the ‘coaster wars’ started, with various parks competing for things like fastest roller coaster, tallest roller coaster and so on. In fact, they currently have the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the universe with Top Thrill Dragster.
Cedar Point also has several ‘thrill rides’ that enthusiasts can experience as well. One of the most popular of these is maXair. This ride reaches a maximum speed of 70 mph and dangles riders upside down 140 feet above the ground. Rider experience “airtime” - that coveted feeling of weightlessness that is popular for thrill-seekers on roller coasters. That is one of the things that makes maXair so popular.
