The Library of Congress & The National Book Festival

The 8th annual National Book Festival is set to take place this week in Washington, DC. The event is sponsored by the Library of Congress and is free. There will be more than 70 authors in attendance at the National Mall this year. And First Lady Laura Bush is the official host.
Authors you can see include Philippa Gregory, Dionne Warwick, Arthur Frommer, Michelle Singletary, Pauline Frommer, Neil Gaiman, R.L. Stein, Brad Meltzer and many more. You can get a complete list of authors appearing at the official website.
Where: The National Mall between 3rd and 7th streets
When: September 27, 10 am – 5:30 pm
Cost: Free
