Museum Day 2008 is this weekend

If you are in the US then you should check out Museum Day 2008 this weekend. Saturday is Museum Day here in the US and that means free admission to select museums. Of course, some of the museums that are participating, like the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles, are closes on Saturdays and will be participating on Sunday instead. Museum Day is sponsored by the Smithsonian Magazine, so all of the museums that are taking part in this are affiliates of the Smithsonian.
To get free admission, you have to have a Museum Day admission card – but you can get that on the official website. Admission is good for you and one guest at no charge to the participating museums. You can get a list of participating museums on their website.
