Captain Cook Birthplace Museum

The Captain Cook Birthplace Museum is located in Marton, Middlesbrough in England. The museum is free to the public. The museum shows the life, times and journeys of Captain James Cook. The museum is located in the landscaped grounds of Stewart Park.
Cook was the first European to discover New Zealand. He also claimed land that eventually became Australia for the British crown.
Admission hours:
Mar-Oct: Tue-Sun 10am-5.30pm
Nov-Feb: Tue-Sun 9am-4pm
