Oktoberfest in Munich just officially had their grand opening. This is the 175th Oktoberfest and it goes from September 20, 2008 through October 5, 2008. The official opening ceremonies take place in the Schottenhamel tent.
This year expect for the beer price to range between 7.80 and 8.30 Euros per liter. You can get complete info on all things going on at Oktoberfest by visiting the Official Oktoberfest Website. And remember – don’t try to bring your car to Oktoberfest!

Weekdays: 10am – 10:30pm
Saturdays, Sundays and holidays: 9am – 10:30pm
Daily Tent Closing Time: 11:30pm
The “Käfer Wiesn-Schänke” and the “Weinzelt” are open until 1am. Last call for alcohol: 12:15am.
