Much of what I know about Cleveland comes from television. There is the Cleveland Indians baseball team, and then I remember the Drew Carey show was shot in Cleveland. Hot in Cleveland was another show that was based in the city, and I’m sure there are more. Of course, sitcoms and baseball teams don’t hold a candle to actually visiting Cleveland, Ohio. Are you ready to see what some of the top attractions are in Cleveland?

One unique stop you need to make is the West Side Market. You can combine your trip here with a picnic in the park because the West Side Market is the perfect place to pick up food for a picnic. It’s also the perfect place to pick up food to cook a meal, but who wants to do that while you’re on vacation? They have candy, too. Plus, you’re going to pick up a little Pittsburgh culture while you’re there.

Have you heard of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Maybe you didn’t know it was in Cleveland, Ohio, but it is indeed? I know this would be on my itinerary if I was planning a vacation to Cleveland. It’s on the list of the top 10 attractions in Cleveland, as I’m sure you can imagine. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is on the lake, which is a nice extra when it comes to your travels.

If you’re wanting to make a historical landmark stop along the way, you can visit the James A. Garfield Monument. If you need more than one stop for your history fix, then you can stop on by the Crawford Auto & Aviation Museum. Now let’s step away from the history of Cleveland and get down to more even exciting stuff.

How about a visit to the Great Lakes Brewing Company? Or, if you’re wanting to do something related to the history of Cleveland still, yet you want to have a ton of fun and stay away from museums and monuments for awhile, then you can tour Historic Little Italy. I’m sure you’ve deduced this is going to be the hot spot for Italian food.
